Warranty & Customer Care Experience

Our commitment to you begins with the first phone call and extends well beyond your move-in date.  From the onset, you have access to a professional, award-winning and qualified team of Neal professionals who have set the standards for innovative and quality design, home building, interior finishes and customer service for more than 40 years.

Your Neal Communities’ new home services, customer service and warranty and commitment includes:  Pre-construction meeting with your home builder and sales specialist to go over all the details including timeframe, floor plan, interior finishes and more; Ongoing meetings during the entire construction process, held approximately every three weeks; Framing walk-through to make sure everything is laid out to the your specifications; Upon completion, a personal walk through and move-in orientation.

 

 

 
 

Punch list time frame
You receive 30 days to create your punch list of any items you find in your home (usually minimal) and your builder takes care of them.  After the 30-day move-in, the Neal warranty team then schedules an appointment and handles requests.

Response time
We have an established the 1/3/10 Rule:  Respond to calls within one day, evaluate the concern within three days and correct it within 10 days.  We have a 99 percent response rate for responding to all concerns within one business day and close to 85 percent rate for inspection and completing all repairs within 10 days. 

Designated point person
You will have an appointed Neal Communities’ Customer Information Concierge to contact who responds to and answers your questions during the entire building process.  You receive your first letter when the home’s permit is received along with a real person’s name and phone number to call with any questions.   You are also contacted 30 days before closing to schedule your walk through. 

Attention to detail
Neal builders take great pride in their workmanship and attention to detail, including cleaning up after themselves every day. Sites are free of as much debris and trash as possible during the entire construction process.

Warranty policy
With a new Neal home, you receive a one-year warranty for construction defects, a two-year mechanical systems warranty and a 10-year structural warranty, details of which will be carefully reviewed with you.
