Neal Communities Sells Its 100th Home in Central Park

SARASOTA, Fla., April 25, 2011 – Central Park, the newest community in Lakewood Ranch, has sold more than 100 homes since opening less than nine months ago, averaging more than 11 homes sold each month. Neal Communities, the developer and one of the builders in Central Park, has opened five of the six neighborhoods within the 380-acre, gated community. The community opened last summer with Piedmont Park, Forest Park and Brickell Park and offered homes up to 2400 sq. ft. The community now offers homes up to 3000 sq. ft. and lot sizes that are larger in Claremont Park and Gramercy Park. At completion, there will be over 800 homes, ranging from 1040 to about 3000 square feet, with prices ranging from the $130s to $400s.

“These homes are excellent value, but more important is the quality of construction and the care and professionalism shown each buyer,” says Pat Neal, president of Neal Communities. “We are pleased with the strong activity in 2011 and of the progess of Central Park so far. Buyers are seeing that now more than ever is the time to act with interest rates at an all time low.”

The focal point of Central Park is the grand park that includes a splash fountain, two dog parks, a pavilion and picnic area, ball fields, tennis courts, a playground, a butterfly garden, and a kiosk.  The grand park has hosted several family-friendly events already this year and will no doubt see more as interest in community continues to rise.
