Award-winning excellence begins with people. For almost four decades, the dedication of our team in building superior homes has earned Neal numerous awards in design, construction, environmental care and customer satisfaction.
Neal Communities is recognized by the press, our customers and even our competition as one of the finest home builders in the region and even the country. Our sales success caught national attention when BUILDER Magazine placed us number 135 among builders nationwide as ranked by number of closings in 2008. Neal Communities closed 159 sales in 2008, making us the highest ranking locally owned builder in Manatee and Sarasota Counties. Neal also was awarded the Best Homebuilder in 2009 by Bradenton Herald's People's Choice Awards. Neal Communities was recently ranked #36 in terms of gross revenues in Manatee/Sarasota counties, as rated by Biz941.
Our company's honors and accolades include 44 Southeastern Regional Aurora Awards, several Parade of Homes Awards each year we enter, five National Best In American Living Awards and hundreds of local and regional industry awards. Pat Neal was named Humanitarian of the Year in 2007 by the Lakewood Ranch Community Fund.
In 2009, Neal received three Aurora Awards for design and architectural excellence from the Southeast Builders Conference for the Rose and Lake Cottages at River Sound. Last year Neal Communities received five Aurora Awards for design excellence for Neal's Design Gallery, The Harborage, Forest Creek, and the Rose and Gull Cottages at Forest Creek.
